Clean place and great service. Their fish soup noodle was the best. Appetizer was pretty good too.
We stopped by on a rainy day for a comforting bowl of soup. We were seated quickly and ordeded through the QR code. I got the house special dish soup and my friend got the spicy sauerkraut fish soup. This was exactly what I needed. The broth was clear, comforting, and warm. The other place I knew that served this in Irvine closed recently so I'm so glad to have found this place! Will definitely be back!
I've now been here SEVERAL times, and would now say my family are regulars. My favorite dish is the fish soup with pickled cabbage. We've also ordred the cauliflower (good, but also very greasy), seafood fried rice (good), cucumber salad and seaweed salad. We last ordered the stir fried clams - this I would definitely not recommend. That was not good at all. Oily, didn't have flavor, and the clams were not good quality. Do be aware that there is a QR code that you order from at the table and do all your payment online too. That menu is actually more extensive than what is on the Yelp photos, but we ony becamse aware when talking to the staff.
Come here for lunch again. The fish broth noodle soup never disappoints. It now can order through the phone by scanning a QR code. The cold sliced beef appetizer is also very good.
Boyfriend and I literally drove 30 min here for the Sauerkraut Fish Soup. I think they had another location in Irvine called Kiwami (same owner) and we would get it pretty often whenever we were craving some really good soup. Then one day Kiwami disappeared/closed down??? and we were so sad because we couldn't find any place that served this. Earlier tonight we were thinking about how much we missed it and I can't tell you how fast we left the house to come here when I found it on Yelp. We didn't know that Sheung Shui was the original location and we will definitely be coming back again. The ambiance in here is nice- well lit and clean! And ofc the soup slaps. Super yummy 11/10 (I also like the House Special soup!!)
